MELOA: The evolution of the Surface Drifters

WAVY Test Campaign in the Portuguese Coast

The first WAVY test campaign took place on 16th and 17th June, in Viana do Castelo, Portugal. The test campaign consisted in a demonstration of the WAVYs with the main objective to observe and take measurements of the rip currents at the Cabedelo beach.

MELOA 1st Advisory Board Meeting 

MELOA project had the first Advisory Board meeting on 16th May 2018, in Dublin (Irland). The AB members provided a set of recommendations, including the identification of further use cases for the WAVY drifters.

MELOA Kick Off Meeting 

MELOA official Kick Off meeting took place on December 14th and 15th 2017, in Lisbon.  The MELOA consortium met to discuss the MELOA objectives and prepare and set up the roadmap for the upcoming project milestones.
